Colorado gay nightclub gunman arrested by ‘heroic’ attendees after killing 5 people

The gunman who opened fire inside a gay nightclub in Colorado he was detained by two “heroic” people who were inside the premises, police said at a news conference Sunday, where they identified the suspect as 22-year-old Anderson Lee Aldrich.

The suspect entered the Colorado Springs Q Club and “immediately began shooting at the people inside… At least two heroic people within the club confronted and fought with the suspect and were able to stop him from killing any more,” said the police chief, Adrian Vasquezin a press conference.
