Russia plans to include the military campaign in Ukraine in school history books, Education Minister Sergei Kravtsov said today.

”Without fail that will be in the manuals”, said Kravtsov, quoted by the agency TASS.
The minister specified that “the new history programs” they will have that section “mandatory”.
At the same time, he indicated that the new material that will soon be studied in schools is being reviewed by the Russian Ministry of Justice.

Russia already introduced a new subject in schools at the beginning of this academic year called “Conversations about what is important” and where it is addressed, in particular, Russian policy in Ukraine.
This subject was criticized by some parent unions that linked its appearance with the desire of the authorities to propagandize the military campaign in the neighboring country.
