She was a flight attendant and reveals three things passengers should avoid if they don’t want to have problems on a flight

Ale de la Vega was a flight attendant for some time, which allowed her to acquire the necessary experience with which she now gives travel advice. Her former profession was part of her day-to-day life, so she currently knows both the risks involved in an airplane and the moments of panic that must be avoided. That is why she, in one of her last public statements, she warned travelers about the reason why you should not paint your nails inside an airplane.

In addition, the professional considered that there are other aspects that passengers should know so as not to attract problems to the rest of the crew. In a recent video from his TikTok account @alitadelavega, he listed three actions classified as incorrect within the aircraft. The main one was the nail varnish.

He made it clear that, in addition to bothering the people around, the enamel could have repercussions on health: “The plane is a very small space, the smell of varnish is a very strong aroma, and the air in the plane is constantly being recycled… It would be impossible to get rid of the aroma and, in the worst case, a passenger could be intoxicated,” said the tiktoker.

Other prohibited attitudes on the plane, according to the flight attendant

Ale stated that, from his experience, everything that is prohibited for passengers is intended to protect the safety of others. Therefore, not complying with what is required would imply a sanction for the offender. These are the other two prohibited attitudes:

De la Vega warned that a person should never take daring behaviors, because the flight attendants will classify them as “red passenger”. This etiquette means that careful attention must be paid to this individual to avoid disturbing the tranquility of the flight. “Remember that a plane is classified as a federal zone, so if you were to get aggressive the first (option) would be to give you a warning,” he mentioned.

Although, if things escalate and become more tense, all crew members would take extreme measures: “If you continue with your aggressiveness, then upon arrival at the destination the leader of the flight would request that the federal police be waiting for you,” he added. If the aggressiveness exceeds the limits, an emergency landing could even be made to lower the traveler in question.

As expected, the virtual community reacted with all kinds of comments and questions on the subject: “If you get aggressive, can’t they parachute you out?”wrote one person jokingly.

Among the three prohibitions is also the pronunciation of the word “bomb”. Saying it would attract a greater conflict for everyone. The ex-stewardess urged not to announce it at the airport and, much less, inside an aircraft. The reasons are related to the security codes that aviation experts have. If they had a bomb alert, they would have to activate certain evacuation protocols.

Along the same lines, users were quick to respond and make assumptions: “So I can’t say we’re going to have a blast?”; “In Venezuela we call hydraulic motors a bomb and a cousin carried one on a flight. The officers questioned him and almost arrested him”; “Ah, I wanted to go singing ‘to dance this is a bomb’”, they told him.
