Earthquake of magnitude 6 is registered in Mexico with epicenter in Tecpan, Guerrero

On the morning of this Sunday, December 11, 2022, an earthquake of magnitude 6 was recorded in the Mexico Citywith epicenter in Tecpan, state of Guerrero.

According to National Seismologicalthe epidermis of the earthquake was located 22 kilometers from Tecpanin the state of Warriorand 10 kilometers deep.

No damage reported in CDMX

The head of government of Mexico City, Claudia Sheinbaumreported that no damage is reported.

The Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC) from Mexico City flies over the capital with helicopters and reports white balance in all quadrants.

So far, the Secretariat for Comprehensive Risk Management and Civil Protection has no record of incidents after the earthquake in the CDMX.

Surprise earthquake to capital
