Afghanistan: Armed group attacks a hotel frequented by Chinese citizens in Kabul

A group of armed assailants broke into a hotel in the capital of AfghanistanKabul, regularly frequented by Chinese citizens, as security forces try to put an end to the attack.

”This afternoon, a group of criminals attacked the Hotel Kabul (…), the security forces have arrived in the area and the operation is underway,” the capital’s Police spokesman, Khalid Zadran, told EFE.

The hotel restaurant serves Chinese food and it is popular among the citizens of that country, a neighbor and an eyewitness to the attack told EFE, who requested anonymity.
