Ukraine bombs Russia’s Belgorod region, leaving one dead and at least five wounded

One person was killed and five others were injured this Sunday in Ukrainian attacks against the Russian region of Belgorod, bordering Ukraine, reported in Telegram the governor of the region, Viacheslav Gladkov.

According to the governor, the attacks were aimed at Belgorodthe regional capital, injuring four people, as well as a nearby district where “Unfortunately there is one dead and one wounded.”

The attacks they smashed the windows of several buildings and damaged 14 houses, Gladkov said.

Towns and infrastructure in this region are frequently shot at, often fatal, which Moscow attributes to the Ukrainian army.

The regional capital, Belgorodhas also been directly hit on several occasions.
