Mexico: Despite the cold, mother leaves her 13-year-old daughter outside her home in Puebla

The System for the Comprehensive Development of the Family of the State of Puebla (SEDIF) in Mexico helped a minor under the age of 13 in the Galaxia La Calera neighborhood of the state capital who suffered a situation of abuse, events that were denounced and disseminated through social networks.

Through a statement, the agency indicated that personnel from the Office of the Attorney for the Protection of the Rights of Girls, Boys and Adolescents, in coordination with the Secretariat of Public Security (SSP)immediately responded to the report to help the minor and subsequently filed the corresponding complaint with the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE).

As a protection measure, the minor remains under the protection of SEDIF, “where she receives all the necessary assistance in order to guarantee her physical and psychological integrity, as well as the exercise of her rights,” the statement said.

Neighbors of the Galaxia La Calera neighborhood denounced that the adolescent suffered abuse from her family, mainly from her mother.

In a video circulating on social networks, the girl is heard crying and asking her mother to let her into her house, this after she left her in the yard despite the low temperatures.

“She is a neighbor who hits her daughter every day. Right now, with this cold, she has it outside of her and the girl asks for help so that she can get there, ”narrated the neighbor.

“Mommy, mommy, mommy, mommy, please,” the youngest can be heard saying.

According to the information disclosed, the woman constantly beat her daughter, so it was common to hear her cries inside the home.

So far the identity of the mother is unknown, as well as the whereabouts of the father or other relatives who could take care of her.
