Germany: Government recommends avoiding “non-essential” travel to China

The German Foreign Office recommended to its citizens to avoid “non-essential trips” to China Due to the increase in infections coronavirus in that country and the saturation of the health system.

“The number of infections has reached its highest level since the beginning of the pandemic in 2020says the Ministry on its website.

The saturation of the health system also endangers medical assistance in emergency cases, he adds.

The Robert Koch Institute (RKI) of virology, for its part, has classified China as a “zone of variants”, with the exception of Hong Kong.

Already on Thursday the German Minister of Health, Karl Lauterbachhad announced the obligation of a negative test for those who travel from China to Germany.
