Shortly after 7:00 p.m. (0000 GMT on Wednesday), Bolsonaro got out of a vehicle with another person and quickly entered the house on the outskirts of Orlando (Florida) where he has been residing since December 30.

The day before, the far-right ex-president had confirmed on social networks his hospitalization in Orlando for an intestinal “adhesion”, accompanying his message with a photo of him in his hospital bed.

Bolsonaro left the hospital two days after thousands of his supporters stormed the Brazilian Presidency, Congress and Supreme Court, protesting the results of the October elections in which he lost to leftist Lula da Silva.

The former president left Brazil with 48 hours to go until the end of his term, on December 30, and settled in a house belonging to former Brazilian martial arts fighter José Aldo in Kissimmee, south of Orlando.

Thus, he avoided participating in Lula’s inauguration.

Bolsonaro has had numerous health problems stemming from the stabbing he suffered in 2018.

Intestinal obstructions, occlusions or adhesions: he has been urgently hospitalized half a dozen times and operated on six times since then.

The 67-year-old ex-soldier told the CNN Brasil news channel on Tuesday that he wanted to return to his country earlier than planned.

“Came [a Estados Unidos] to stay until the end of the month [de enero]but my intention is to bring my return forward,” he told the outlet, justifying his decision by the fact that his doctors in Brazil know better the problems caused by the stab wound.
