“In that movement, it was possibly struck by lightning, which is why the aircraft was subjected to review”explained the Presidency, which also requested “a report from the Colombian Air Force (FAC) to find out details of possible effects.”

The Colombian chief executive shortened his official schedule in Chile on Tuesday, where he was on an official visit, due to the emergency that occurred on the Pan-American Highway, the main highway in southwestern Colombia, due to a landslide in the municipality of Rosas (Cauca ). The landslide, which interrupted traffic for about 3 kilometers of the highway, devastated several houses in the rural area of ​​La Soledad, leaving more than 700 homeless according to figures from the authorities.

So far there has been no loss of human life because the families were previously evacuated in an operation in which the FAC, the National Unit for Disaster Risk Management (Ungrd) and other organizations such as Civil Defense and the Red Cross intervened. .
