Putin orders the creation of a rehabilitation center for wounded soldiers in Ukraine

Russia does not publish the number of wounded soldiers in Ukraine and has only released the number of soldiers killed three times, twice last March and once in September.

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, as of September 21, 5,937 soldiers had died in the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

In the Ukrainian Defense Ministry’s daily tally of Russian battlefield deaths, as of today 114,130 Russian soldiers have been “liquidated” in Ukraine since February 24.
