Woman found dead in Bogotá is DJ Valentina Trespalacios: this is known

This Sunday, January 22, the body of the renowned DJ Valentina Trespalacios was found in a garbage container in the Los Cámbulos neighborhood of the town of Fontibón, west of the capital of Colombia.

According to the first versions, a recycler would have been the person who found the woman’s body inside a suitcase and notified the authorities. The main suspect would be the artist’s boyfriend.

The authorities reported on Sunday afternoon that the body of a woman was found by a recycler in the town of fontibon. However, only on Monday morning it was known that it was the dj Valentina Trespalacios.

”The judicial authorities will take care of the details and establish motives. Work is being carried out with security cameras in the area to identify the alleged perpetrators,” reported Lieutenant Colonel Camilo Torres, citizen security operation commander.

Valentina Trespalacios was 23 years old.

The 23-year-old artist had been practicing her career as a DJ for around four years, making presentations in different cities of the country and also abroad.

According to early versions, the young woman went out to a party with her American fiancé -with whom he had been with for about a year- on Friday and Saturday, so his relatives believe that his partner would be the main suspect.

They report that the body of the young woman found yesterday in Bogotá, in the town of Fontibón, in a container and presumably dismembered, corresponds to the young DJ and influencer Valentina Trespalacios.

According to Carlos Trespalacios, who was in dialogue with Blu radio, the young woman’s partner arrived from the United States last week and now does not appear, which seems very strangesince the relative of the DJ said that they had known each other for more than a year and had many plans.

”She was approximately four years into the DJ career. She had done very well, she had a very promising future, so much so that she hung out all over the country, in the best nightclubs. She also went to many parts of South America: Chile, Mexico, Brazil, Peru, ”Trespalacios told the aforementioned media outlet.

Regarding the body of the young woman, it is known that the Technical Investigation Corps (CTI) of the Prosecutor’s Office carried out the respective removal process, however, it has not yet issued an official report on the cause of death of Trespalacios.
