“This is the lady who gets into taxis and doesn’t pay for tickets or anything”, the bus driver is heard saying. On that occasion, the young woman justified herself: she assured that she “did not have” money and that someone was supposedly going to cancel for her later.

Besides, a restaurant in Medellín denounced that in recent days it would have ordered food, but it would not have paid for it either.

“I live in fear that they will do something to her or to my family”

The women was identified as Daniela Alzate Velasquez, 31 years old. According to what her relatives told the local media The Colombian, has a diagnosis of bipolar disorder, which has made it difficult for them to control, as they would be resistant to following the treatment with medication or going to a mental rest center.

“She doesn’t play by the rules. She does not meet the guidelines for a home. I can’t live with her anymore. I cried. I’m desperate. When he asks me for food, I give him, I wash his clothes”, spointed out the relative.

This disorder is characterized by different episodes. Patients go through various mood states, such as mania, happiness, or irritability, explains England’s National Institute of Mental Health.
