Arrested on suspicion of murdering Bob Lee, founder of Cash App

The Police of San Franciscoin Californiareported this Thursday that a 38-year-old entrepreneur has been arrested on suspicion of murdering Bob Leea tech entrepreneur who founded the mobile payment service app Cash Appand that the two men knew each other.

Our investigators identified the suspect as nima momeni of Emeryville, California, 38 years old. We can confirm that Lee and Momeni knew each other. However, we will not be able to provide further details at this time.said the head of Police from San Francisco, william scottin a press conference.

Lee was stabbed to death at age 43 early on April 4 near downtown San Francisco.

Surveillance video captured Lee stumbling through the streets of downtown San Francisco, clutching his side as he left a trail of blood behind him.

Local media indicate that Momeni is the owner of a company called Expand IT Momeni.

Momeni was taken into custody without incident in Emeryville. He was transported to the San Francisco County Jail and charged with one count of murder.”, noted Scott, who told the press that he could not give more information because the case is not yet closed.

Lee was the product manager for MobileCoina San Francisco-based cryptocurrency startup, and worked at Google and in Square.

He also invested in several technology companies, including SpaceX, Club House and figmaaccording to his LinkedIn profile.
