Colombia detains femicide Sergio Tarache for extradition to Peru

The government of Colombia announced this Tuesday that he will keep the Venezuelan in preventive detention for the purpose of extradition Sergio Tarache Parrawho was arrested last Tuesday in Bogota and is accused of having burned his 18-year-old Peruvian ex-partner alive in the streets of the historic center of Lime.

The information added that the authorities of Colombia and Peru met today to review “different alternatives to make the delivery, in accordance with the legal requirements, of the Venezuelan citizen”.

This occurred after the Peruvian government requested, precisely, the arrest for extradition purposes of Tarache Parra, who will remain “deprived of his freedom in a penitentiary institution in Colombia” while the legal procedures that allow his extradition are carried out.
