Chilavert votes as a candidate for the presidency of Paraguay away from the spotlight

Wearing a black T-shirt, Chilavert posted a photograph of himself showing his finger with the blue ink mark, required after casting the vote.

With his 57 years and retired from the courts since 2004, “Chila” ran for the Presidency for the Youth Force Youth Partya formation founded in 2007.

His vice-presidential campaign formula is Sofía Clara Scheid, Ph.D. in Education.

In his first attempt to reach the Presidency of his country, “Chila” failed to capitalize on its international recognition and he was far behind the main candidates in the voting intention polls.

In June of last year he presented his independent candidacy to the internal elections in December, which are a step required by law to formalize candidacies in the country.
