Two ultralight planes collided near an airfield in northeastern Spain this Sunday, causing the death of its four passengers, announced the authorities of the region of Catalonia.
Firefighters found a burning device in a wooded area near the airfield of Moiain the province of Barcelonaafter receiving notice from a witness who saw the ultralight lose altitude and crash, the Catalan government said.

“As soon as the fire was extinguished, it was found that there were two lifeless bodies inside the ultralight”, indicated the regional government in a statement.
Several hours later, firefighters found another damaged plane with two people dead inside, about 300 meters away from the first.
Authorities believe the two aircraft collided in midair.
