Georgia shooting: At least 4 dead, including shooter, in attack in southeastern US

At least four people died this Thursday, including the attacker, after a multiple shooting occurred in Moultriea town of Georgiain the southeast of USA.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) confirmed the news to local outlet CBS News and the Colquitt County coroner, C Verlyn Brockpointed out that one of the dead is the attacker, who murdered his mother and grandmother, in their respective homes.

After this he moved to an establishment of the chain McDonald’s where he shot and killed a woman who was an assistant manager and then committed suicide. The attacker has not yet been identified by authorities.

GBI had previously reported that they were investigating “multiple incidents” with deceased.

The event occurs one day after another shooting in the city of Atlantaalso in Georgia, after a man allegedly murdered one person and injured four others, before being arrested several hours later.

USA has suffered at least 192 mass shootings so far this year, according to the organization Gun Violence Archivewhich defines mass shootings as those in which four or more people are killed, not including the perpetrator of the attack.
