“I have decided to establish that Europe Day will be celebrated in Ukraine every year on May 9 together with the countries of the European Union.”says the decree, quoted by the Ukrainian national news agency, ukrinform.

Zelensky declared in a speech to the nation that Ukraine will from now on every May 9 celebrate “the historic unity” of Europe and of “all the Europeans who defeated Nazism and will defeat Nazism”Ruscism‘” he said, using the word accepted by the Ukrainian Parliament to recognize Russian imperialist ideology.
