The writer accused Trump of having raped her in the changing room of a department store in NY in the mid-nineties, and also to defame her when she decided to make her complaint public in a book that she published in 2019.
Initially, he denounced the former president for defamation, but last year he took advantage of a legal window that was opened in New York to seek civil justice for prescribed sexual crimes, also accusing him of rape.
