Shooting in South Florida leaves one dead, two injured

The county authorities Browardin the south of Florida (USA), are investigating a shooting that occurred on Friday night that left one dead and two injured, local media reported this Saturday.

The event occurred around 10:30 p.m. local time (2:30 GMT on Friday) outside a house in Pompano Beachnorth of Miami, due to circumstances that are the subject of investigation.

Upon arrival at the scene of the events, after receiving an alert, the police officers and local firefighters found three people on the ground with gunshot wounds, after which they proceeded to transfer them to a hospital.

In it hospitalone of the wounded was declared dead.

The authorities have not released the identities of the deceased, nor information about possible suspects.

A neighbor who preferred to remain anonymous told the local channel NBC6 that she heard about 20 shots that sounded like a broadside, after which she immediately went to cover her children inside the house.

The authorities have requested the collaboration of residents who can provide information that helps to arrest the person(s) responsible for the shooting.
