Maduro says that Petro is becoming a “guarantor” of the Venezuelan dialogue

The president of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduromet this Tuesday with his counterpart Colombian, Gustavo Petroin Brasiliaon the sidelines of the meeting of South American leaders and affirmed that the Colombian is becoming a “guarantor” of his government’s dialogue with the opposition.

Maduro stated that “we must revive the spirit of the Bogota Dialogue”, which was attended by 20 countries, and announced that “soon” is going to receive a group of foreign ministers from those countries.

I will soon receive a group of foreign ministers from countries participating in the Bogotá dialogue, who will bring me a message. We want to move towards an inclusive dialogue, to strengthen Venezuelan democracy, to strengthen internal dialogue, peace in Venezuela”, he commented.

The meeting between Petro and Maduro took place at the conclusion of the summit this Tuesday in Brasiliaorganized by the Brazilian president, Luiz Inacio Lula da Silvato promote regional integration.
