Zelensky asks to speak “live” at the next OAS General Assembly

The government of Ukraine has requested the Organization of American States (OAS) the intervention of the president of the country, Volodymyr Zelenskyin the General Assembly of the organization to be held in Washington At the end of june.

Ukraine is one of the 71 countries that have permanent observation missions to the OAS. In April last year, the organization suspended Russia as an observer, in retaliation for the invasion of Ukraine.

The next OAS General Assembly, which is held annually, will bring together the foreign ministers of the 32 member countries of the organization in Washington between June 20 and 23.
