Fires in Canada: 7 impressive shots of orange fog that filled New York

Smoke from hundreds of fires that have spread across Canada has engulfed several cities in the United States in recent days. In New York, the Statue of Liberty and the skyscrapers of Manhattan have been shrouded in thick orange-brown fog since Wednesday. The US government has urged its fellow citizens whose health is fragile to “take precautions” in the face of a sharp deterioration in air quality.
