Venezuela: Former president of the electoral body launches his candidacy for the opposition primaries

The former president of National Electoral Council (CNE) of Venezuela andres caleca launched this Thursday its candidacy for the primaries that the opposition will hold on October 22, with the aim of becoming the flag bearer of the anti-Chavismo coalition that faces the ruling party in the presidentialscheduled for 2024.

The Venezuelan opposition hopes that at least 13 leaders register their names in the process for receiving applications that began last Monday, and that will last until June 23, ahead of the primaries.
