A witness heard ‘spooky’ screams before the murders in the center of the British city of Nottingham

A witness to the attacks on Tuesday in Nottinghamin northern England, said he heard “horrible and blood-curdling screams” before three people were killed in the town, where police arrested a man.

After what two people were found dead shortly after 0400 local time (0300 GMT), police responded to another incident in which a van had run over other three people -who have been admitted to the hospital-, and later found a third corpse in another street of Nottingham.

The witness, a man who preferred to remain anonymous, told the BBC that, after the screams, he looked out the window of his house and saw a “black man dressed in black with a hood and a backpack who was struggling with some people”A Man and a Woman.

“She was screaming: ‘Aid!‘. I wish I had yelled something out the window to make the assailant nervous. I saw him stab the boy first and then the woman. They were repeated stabbings, four or five times. The boy collapsed in the middle of the street.said.

“The girl staggered towards a house and didn’t move. The next minute she disappeared over the side of a house, and that’s where she was found. I would say it all happened in five or six minutes. The attacker then simply walked by Ilkeston Road towards (the center of) the city, as quiet as anything else”recounted.

This witness claimed that he called the police, who arrived within five minutes, while paramedics, who arrived later, tried to revive the couple for about 40 minutes.

In a statement, Nottinghamshire Police Commissioner, Kate MeynellHe said it was a “horrible and tragic attack that has claimed the lives of three people.”

“We believe that these three incidents are related and we have a man in custody. The investigation is in its early stages and a team of detectives is working to establish exactly what happened.”, he added.

The incidents investigated occurred in widely disparate areas of Nottingham: the run over in Milton Street, in the commercial center; the two corpses were found in Ilkeston Road (to West); and the third deceased was found in Magdala Road (to the north).

law enforcement They have not yet provided the identity of the 31-year-old man arrested nor the motive for the attacks.
