“Russia does not give up on negotiations in Ukraine,” Putin tells African leaders

The Russian President, Vladimir Putinstated today before seven african leaders that Russia does not renounce negotiations to seek a peaceful solution to the conflict in Ukraine.

Putin assured that Russia values ​​the position of African countries “in favor of maintaining the global stability and securityas well as “the formation of a fairer model of international relations”.

The president of South Africa, Cyril Ramaphosafor his part, considered that the time has come to “end the war” in Ukraine.

Ramaphosawho chairs the African delegation that arrived in Moscow after meeting with the Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelenskyin kyiv, presented before putin a 10-point peace plan and described as “historical” the mission of African leaders to contribute to the solution of the ukrainian conflict.

This mission has historical significance. The African continent, which today represents seven countries here, has never before been involved in similar missions.” acknowledged.

Zelensky asked yesterday, Friday, for the Russian withdrawal to achieve a “true and just peace” after meeting in kyiv with the leaders of South Africa, Senegal, Egypt, Uganda, Zambia, Congo and Comoros.
