France: 150 detainees, police stations set on fire and town halls attacked in riots over the death of a teenager shot by police

One hundred and fifty people were arrested on the night from Wednesday to Thursday in France in riots following the death of a teenager shot by a police officerannounced the French Minister of the Interior, Gérald Darmanin.

The minister denounced in a tweet “unbearable violence against symbols of the Republic” and criticized those who did not call for calm.
