Video of the exact moment in which two planes collide and fall at a Colombian air base

Two T-27 Tucano planes of the Colombian Air Force crashed on Saturday during training at a base in the southeast of the country and one of the pilots died, reported the Military Forces.

The accident was registered in the Apiay Air Force Baselocated near the city of Villavicenciothe capital of the department of Goal78 kilometers southeast of Bogota.

“As a result of this unfortunate incident, Lieutenant Colonel Mario Andres Espinosa Gonzalez. An inspection commission was sent to the scene of the events, in order to advance the investigation that allows determining the causes of the accident,” said a statement from the Colombian Air Force.

Videos recorded by people who watched the training on the ground and released on social networks showed the moment when two planes touched in the air and one engulfed in flames falls to the ground. The other aircraft, from a squad of five, managed to land in an emergency, military sources specified.
