Ukraine claims Russian night attacks destroyed 60,000 tons of grain

Russian attacks at night in the Ukrainian region of Odessa (South) destroyed 60,000 tons of grains destined for export and stored in the port of Chornomorsk, the Ukrainian Minister of Agriculture said on Wednesday.

“We will need at least a year to fully repair the damaged infrastructure. At the port of Chornomorsk60,000 tons of grains were destroyed (…), which should have been sent to the grain corridor 60 days ago”announced the minister Mikola Solskyin a statement published on the portal of his portfolio.

the ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky accused this Wednesday Russia of having attackeddeliberately” places used by Ukraine to export grain, three days after the expiration of the agreement on those products.

Russian terrorists deliberately targeted the infrastructure of the agreement on grainsdenounced Zelensky on Telegram, adding that he wants “strengthen the protection of people and port infrastructures”.

The Ukrainian Prosecutor General’s Office indicated, also on Telegram, that it is about the “greatest attack” Russian in the region and that “grain terminals and oil companies were damaged”as well as “houses, agricultural infrastructures and cars”.
