At least six Israelis were wounded by a Palestinian in the occupied West Bank

A Palestinian opened fire on Tuesday against a group of Israelis in a settlement in west bank occupied and injured six people before being “neutralized” by a border police officer, Israeli police announced.

“A terrorist opened fire on a group of people in Ma’aleh Adumim“, to the east of Jerusalemsaid the police in a statement, which reports four wounded civilians.

The man “was neutralized by an off-duty border police officer”added the armed body.

Two hospitals of Jerusalem they later added in another statement that six people were being treated in their establishments, including a teenager. Two of the victims are in serious condition, they detailed.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health confirmed that the attacker, Muhannad Mohammad al-Mazarah20 years old, was killed by “bullets of the occupation”.

The police officer who killed him, whose identity is unknown, stated that he was at the barber’s when he heard shots and screams. The attacker, he detailed, was wearing a yellow vest and was carrying a pistol.

“I wasn’t sure it was a terrorist”he assured in a video released by the police.

“I yelled at him to stop and loaded my gun. He started shooting at me and I understood that it was a terrorist ”accurate.

Since the beginning of last year, west bankoccupied by Israel since 1967, has suffered a series of attacks, both by Palestinians against Israelis, and by Israeli settlers against Palestinian communities.
