Trump indicted for trying to reverse the results of the US elections in 2020

donald trump has been accused this Tuesday of having tried to reverse the results of the 2020 electionin the most serious legal case so far against the former president who is campaigning to return to the White House.

In the 45-page indictment, filed by the special prosecutor jack smithhe is charged with three counts of conspiracy and one count of obstruction.

On January 6, 2021, Trump delivered a speech in front of his supporters gathered near the White Houseurging them to “fight like demons” against the results of the presidential elections that were to be certified in the Capitol.

Thousands of his supporters wreaked havoc and attacked the Capitol in Washingtontemple of American democracy.

“The purpose of the conspiracy was to reverse the legitimate results of the 2020 presidential election by deliberately false claims of voter fraud”, maintains the accusation.

Trump claims, without evidence, that he “stole” the 2020 election, which the democrat won Joe Bidenhis possible rival for the 2024 elections.
