The opponent of Venezuela Maria Corina Machado asked Venezuelans to get active and organize to overcome the “obstacles” that they appear during the campaign for the primary elections of October 22, which started this Tuesday, and in which a coalition candidate will be chosen to face the ruling party in the 2024 presidential.

“This process has been and will continue to be full of obstacles, traps, and lies that seek to take us out of our focus, and that is why today we have to activate ourselves much more than ever.”, Machado said in a video published by his party, Sell ​​Venezuelaon the social network X (formerly Twitter).

On the occasion of the start of the campaign, the politician reiterated that “all venezuelans”, inside and outside the Caribbean country, have the “immense challenge of voting and winning leftovers” in October and then in the 2024 presidential election.

Machado assured that a “huge citizen movement” for “defeat tyranny”, as he called the Government of Nicolas Maduro.

In this sense, he urged the public to “open arms to all good people from all sectors” who want to be part of political change, but always with “firmness”, “amplitude” and “courage”.

“For the destiny of this fight to be democracy and the freedom of Venezuela we have to enforce the rules of democracy and freedom, not those of tyranny”, said the leader of the Vente Venezuela formation.
