Shooting at a Caribbean festival in Boston leaves seven injured

At least seven people were hospitalized after a shooting Saturday morning at a Caribbean festival in Bostonnone with fatal injuries, police said.

The shots occurred shortly before 08:00 (12:00 GMT) at an intersection where one of two parades linked to a caribbean carnival annual scheduled for this Saturday.

“Firearms have been recovered and arrests”, added the city police in a brief statement.

Unverified social media posts appeared to show people running on a chaotic street sceneand some falling to the ground.

Mass shootings are common in USAa country with easy access to firearms in most states.

On Friday night, two women were injured by gunshots in Chicago while attending a major league baseball game between the White socks and the visitors oakland athletics.
