Moscow criticized Washington’s supply of ammunition with depleted uranium to Kyiv

“The decision of the American administration to send depleted uranium ammunition to Kiev is a clear sign of inhumanity,” the Moscow embassy criticized on Telegram, highlighting the risks associated with “moving radioactive clouds” caused by the explosions of these weapons.

This reaction came after America’s announcement of $1 billion in aid to Ukraine, which should give “new impetus” to Kyiv’s counteroffensive.

The purely military part of the sum of $175 million includes, in particular, the promised delivery of 120-mm ammunition containing depleted uranium and intended for American Abrams battle tanks to Ukraine.
