Russia attacks Odessa again with 20 Shahed kamikaze drones

The Russian Armed Forces attacked the region of Odessa with 20 drones kamikaze Shahidin the fifth attack of these characteristics in the last week against the region from which Ukraine It exports most of its agricultural products by sea and river, according to Ukrainian authorities.

Ukrainian air defenses shot down 14 of the Iranian drones launched by Russia against the region. According to Ukrainian Air Forcethe devices were launched from the territory of the Russian Federation and from the peninsula of Black Sea of crimeawhich is, legally, part of Ukraine but it is occupied by Russia since 2014.

“Tonight Russian terrorists attacked the region of Odessa for the fifth time in a week”said the head of the Military Administration of the province, Oleg Kiper. The remains of the downed drones caused damage to a non-residential building and caused a fire in the field that has been extinguished without creating any major problems.

Russia has attacked ports and port infrastructure of Odessa systematically since the Kremlin announced that it was terminating the so-called agreement of the grainwhich committed to allowing the departure of Ukrainian grain through three Ukrainian ports in the Black Sea.

Russian attacks against these infrastructures have caused considerable material damage that undermines the export capacity of Ukraine. They have also spoiled dozens of thousands of tons of cereal, and have blocked the exit of a good part of the ukrainian agricultural products that had to reach other markets.
