“We are on our way to meet our goal for the month and also to meet our goal for the year, which is to achieve at least 70% of the population, 35 million Colombians, with total vaccination”, Duque advanced.

Although the president celebrated the advances in immunization and the fall in the data of infections and deaths, he warned: “We cannot lower our guard, we must keep our guard up, face masks (mask), distancing, hand washing, disinfection and biosafety protocols ”.

In addition, he stressed that the National Vaccination Plan, which was launched last February, “continues to extend immunization” in minors, a population that “were not in the original plan” because at that time the country did not have “the scientific endorsement ”.
