We all know the frustration of leaving plots in unexpected places – but what about having to search for an 800-acre parcel?

An angry Australian woman had to struggle to walk around her outback property after her order was left on a random tree in the bush.

All Heidi, from central Queensland, received from Australia Post, the national postal service, was a delivery notice and an unremarkable photo, leading to an arduous search in the outback.

She took to social media platform TikTok to express her anger over the mistake as she has hundreds of similar-looking trees on her farm.

“Thank you Australia Post, just when I thought it couldn’t get any dumber,” she said.

“I recently received a message that my package had been delivered. Usually it is delivered to our local stores as we are not directly in town.

“I’m going to the store…the store doesn’t have it.”

“I looked at Australia Post [app] and they said they left it in a safe place.

Heidi said she believes any sensible person would have left the delivery in her driveway or at the gate.

After making sure it had arrived, she wasn’t sure where the hell it was.

“I just found my package, which is worth a hundred dollars,” she said.

“You would think that any sensible person would pull into the driveway to the house above and leave it there.

“But no, not that clown. [They thought]“I just drive in, pick a tree and hope the owner finds it.”

“Thank God the owner found it.”

In the TikTok short, she turns around after her rant and shows the package on a stump under a tree.

“I just happened to have no idea what tree it was under,” she said.

‘Low and behold, here it is.

“Cheers Australia Post, well done.”
