Luis Manuel Díaz and his wife, Cilenis Marulanda, parents of the Colombian winger, were kidnapped last Saturday in the city of Barrancas while traveling in their vehicle, where they are from.

The gunner’s mother was released hours later thanks to police pressure, but the authorities have been searching for his father with all their efforts for five days.

Tireless research

From the moment the kidnapping of the Colombian athlete’s father became known, authorities began a ground and air search in which at least 130 police officers and 110 soldiers participated.
