Chilean Loren Garcovich was murdered in Israel by Hamas along with her Spanish husband

Chilean Loren Garcovich, 47, missing since attack Hamas for Israel On October 7, she was murdered along with her husband, Spaniard Iván Illarramendi, as confirmed by the Israeli ambassador to Spain, Rodica Radian-Gordon.

“Our hearts are torn with the news of the brutal murder of Ivan Illarramendi. He was identified a month after the terrorist massacre committed by Hamas in Israeltogether with his wife”, wrote the diplomat on his X account (formerly Twitter).

The ambassador added in her post: “our thoughts and prayers are with their families at this very difficult time. May your memories be blessed.”

Spanish diplomatic sources had previously reported the death of Ivan Illarramendi46 years, who had also been missing since October 7th, as had his wife.

Illarramendi and Garcovich lived on a kibbutz two kilometers from the Gaza Stripwhere they were kidnapped without it being known until now what fate they suffered.

Illarramendi’s death brings to two the number of Spaniards killed after the Hamas terrorist attack. The other victim is the Spanish-Israeli citizen Maya Villalobo Sinvany19-year-old, who was at the Nahal Oz base, near the border of Linkcarrying out military service and whose death was confirmed by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs on October 11.

On October 7, more than 1,000 militants from the Islamic group Hamas they infiltrated Israel in a terrorist attack that left around 1,400 dead, around 5,400 injured, more than 200 kidnapped and many others missing.
