Kim Jong Un celebrated in style with his daughter at a banquet following a successful spy satellite launch.

The trench coat-clad dictator was accompanied by his daughter, who donned a space agency T-shirt to celebrate the good news for North Korea.

Kim Jong-un was seen clapping and grinning, while his daughter Kim Ju-ae, believed to be 10 years old, seemed more reserved with her expression.

In traditional North Korean style, the launch was broadcast by state media, much to the country’s delight.

Dozens of National Aerospace Technology Administration technicians accompanied Kim’s daughter in blue and red NATA T-shirts.

But interestingly enough, Kim decided against it and instead wore his classic black trench coat.

He was also seen celebrating success with young scientists – a slight change from his environment of senior executives, senior military officials and soldiers from North Korea.

Earlier this week, Kim stunned in a brown coat as he attended the launch of a spy satellite.

According to the state news agency KCNA, North Korea has many reasons for this. This includes “strengthening self-defense capabilities” and “defiantly increasing war readiness” in the face of “the enemy’s dangerous military actions.”

Kim cast a nonchalant glance at the “successful” rocket launch, which followed two failed attempts to launch spy satellites this year.

He also increasingly takes his daughter to rocket launches to gain apparently professional experience.

Like her father, she is a true style icon after being spotted in a £1,950 Christian Dior jacket in March.

She wore a plush patterned hoodie as she watched the launch of the Hwasong-17 ICBM at Pyongyang International Airport on March 16.

She only made her first public appearance last November – at a huge rocket launch, of course.

For a time, she was known simply as Kim’s “beloved daughter,” although some see her sudden public presence as a sign that she is his heir apparent.
