Israeli hostages freed: touching footage of reunion with loved ones

A huge smile with a missing tooth. For a moment, 6-year-old Amelia Aloni’s face resembled the face of all the little girls her age, filled with joy that after 49 days of detention by Hamas, she had found her loved ones with her mother Danielle. Mother and daughter were able to hug their loved ones, and the grandmother hugged Amelia. As before, until the bloody terrorist attacks on October 7th and kidnapping by a group of jihadists, and then released on November 24th.

Ohad is only three years older. At the age of 9, he too fell into the hands of the jihadist movement, as did his mother Keren, 54, and grandmother Ruth, 78. The latter’s husband is still in captivity, but the three Monders were glad to find Ohad’s father and their other relatives. The Israeli Foreign Ministry published a video of the first moments, where we see the father running in front of his son to hug him and drag him away from the targets.

He hugged his daughters as tightly as possible, whispering words of love in their ears that the family was now reunited. That’s what Yoni told his daughters Aviv and Raz, ages 2 1/2 and 4 1/2, as he snuggled close to her in a hospital bed with their mother Doron. The 34-year-old German-Israeli girl was kidnapped on October 7 along with her two little daughters from her father-in-law, who is still in captivity.

The oldest Israeli hostage released Friday, 85-year-old Yaffa Ader, was reunited with her loved ones with a broad smile.

“Mom is at home”. This is the simple and clear message that Yair Moses posted on social media after finding his 78-year-old mother Margalit Moses.
