“We collectively fight all violence, abuse and feminicide committed against all women and gender minorities, regardless of the perpetrators, around the world,” confirms the All of Us team in a press release. Singled out for “silence”
Following Hamas’s deadly October 7 attack on Israel and the Israeli crackdown, the collective, and feminist associations and activists more broadly, have become conspicuous for their “silence” regarding information and testimonies reporting rapes committed by Palestinian militants against Israeli women. .
This criticism, which has become more frequent in recent weeks, particularly on social media, intensified on Saturday in Paris during a large march against violence against women called by the collective Nous tous and other feminist associations.
During this march, which was attended by tens of thousands of people, a procession of women “who came to remember the sexist abuses and mass rapes committed by Hamas on October 7” was “threatened and prevented from marching by violent activists who came, among others, from NPA and LFI”, was convicted on Saturday Representative Council of Jewish Institutions of France (Crif) on X (formerly Twitter).
“We are never silent”
In a separate press release, the president of the Women’s Fund, Anne-Cécile Mayfair, for her part, assured that on October 13 she “spoke out in unequivocal condemnation of this terrorist and anti-Semitic attack, as well as the crimes of rape committed against women.” in times of conflict.
“We have never been silent and will always stand in solidarity with all victims of gender-based and sexual violence, no matter where they come from,” she wrote.
The Women’s Fund unequivocally condemns the sexual crimes committed by Hamas since the October 7 terrorist attacks, evidence of which is beginning to emerge. She expresses her full solidarity with the victims and their loved ones.
