Biden defeated Trump in the 2020 presidential elections, but the Republican never acknowledged his defeat, made false accusations of fraud and is accused of allegedly instigating the assault on the Capitol when the election results were certified.
The current president repeatedly warns that the Republican and his most radical followers represent a threat to American democracy.
Although, donald trump is the big favorite in the primaries to elect the Republican candidate in the 2024 presidential electionsin which he will likely fight Biden again.

According to the latest polls, the Republican would win the elections in several key states over Biden, who has approval ratings below 40%.
Surveys also show voters’ concern about the advanced age of Joe Biden, 81 years old. If he wins the elections, the Democrat will complete his second term in 2029, at the age of 86.
Trump, who is 77 years old, would finish his term at 82.
