Nicaragua: five Rottweiler dogs kill their owner in his home, according to local press

Augusto José García, 21 years old, died this Monday as a result of injuries caused by his five Rottweiler dogs at his home, in a neighborhood of Managua, Nicaraguareported the local press.

The young man was attacked in the early hours of Monday after entering the house he rents with one of his brothers through the courtyard, and not through the door, because he had forgotten the key, and found the animals loose and furious who did not recognize him, according to Channel 8 on Nicaraguan television, directed by one of the children of President Daniel Ortega.

“O victim He returned from his mother’s house early in the morning and, due to the lack of a key (he forgot it), he decided to jump over the wall that protects the house, being attacked by animals”, said that medium.

The young man lived with one of his brothers and a sister-in-law, who were allegedly not at home.

For its part, the Sandinista radio station La Primerísima said that the young man said goodbye to the new year at his mother’s house and returned home early in the morning, but forgot the key.

“And in a desperate attempt to enter he climbed the property wall. However, what he found on the other side was not the familiar refuge but the deadly fury of his animals themselves who took his life”, according to that broadcaster’s version.

This is the second case that has occurred in Nicaragua in the last 7 days.

Last Thursday, December 28, Nicaraguan Ana Rosa Aguilera Blandón, 83 years old, died after being attacked by her own dog, pitbull breedalso at his home, in the colonial city of Granada, located 45 kilometers southwest of Managua.

Authorities did not provide information on the status of the Pit Bull or Rottweiler.
