““You have my support because we cannot return to the Republican old guard of yesteryear or a rehashed form of overheated corporatism that Nikki Haley represents,” he pointed out.

Trump, 77, swept Iowa last Tuesday, where 51% of Republican voters chose the former president over DeSantis, who got just 21%, and Haley, with 19%.

No candidate has ever lost a race after claiming the first two states, and Trump would almost certainly declare the Republican nomination over with a victory in New Hampshire.
