Son of former presidential candidate murdered in Mexico asks for forgiveness for his confessed killer

Last October, a court granted Aburto an injunction that invalidated his sentence, arguing that he should have been prosecuted based on the Baja California Penal Code and not with the federal.

In this regard, Colosio Riojas said that the Attorney General’s Office did not contact his family and expressed his rejection of the fact that the matter was “banal”in election times.
