“The martyrs were chained and blindfolded. Regardless of the reason for your arrest, it is a clear indication that the occupation carried out an execution on the ground,” he said.

The siege of schools and hospitals in Beit Lahia last November coincided with the dissemination of images that went viral of dozens of Gazans, handcuffed and half-naked, leaving buildings surrounded by Israeli forces at gunpoint.

Israel claimed they were “terrorists” who had surrendered, although Palestinian sources claimed otherwise and reported abuse and torture in some cases when they were interrogated.

The Palestinian organization alleged that Israel holds hundreds of detainees in secret, under enforced disappearance, with the aim of “committing more crimes against them in secret”, while at the same time refusing to provide international and Palestinian institutions with information about detention centers. , date and charges against. those detained in the Strip.
