Vente Venezuela, the party of the presidential candidate of the main opposition coalition, Maria Corina Machadodenounced this Thursday that the State “decided to crush the opponent” through acts such as the arrest, more than a week ago, of three of the leaders of the anti-Chavista campaign, reported missing by their lawyers and family members.
“Here is a State that has decided to crush its adversary, to crush it. “This means taking three detained or kidnapped Venezuelans, as they are today.”, denounced Machado’s campaign manager, Magalli Medain a video published on the training account X.

Meda described as “a kidnapping” the arrest of regional leaders of Machado’s campaign in the states of La Guaira, João Freites; Yaracuy, Luís Camarãoand Trujillo, Guilherme López.
He assured that these arrests demonstrate the Government’s “fear” of Nicolás Maduro to compete with the former liberal deputy, whose political disqualification was ratified last Friday by the Supreme Court of Justice.
Furthermore, he reiterated that people who provided services for Machado’s public events, renting stages or sound equipment, were also “persecuted”.

This Wednesday, the defense of Machado’s three campaign managers denounced the “forced disappearance” of these men, as neither their families nor jurists were able to see them.
In statements to the press, Omar Mora Tostaone of the defenders reported that he has sent alerts to international organizations to denounce the situation.
Last Friday, the attorney general, Tarek William Saab, confirmed that the security forces detained these citizens, whom he accused of being linked to a conspiracy in which they served “as logistical support to the terrorist group that intended to attack several military barracks ”.
