In a statement sent to EFE, the Biden campaign’s Hispanic communications director, Maca Casado, criticized the immigration proposals of Trump, the favorite to be the Republican candidate in next November’s elections and who adopted anti-immigration rhetoric at his campaign rallies.

Trump went so far as to claim that migrants “poison” the country’s blood and outlined plans that range from mass deportations to the construction of gigantic detention centers to send irregular migrants to the United States.

Furthermore, he did not rule out the possibility of once again separating migrant families at the border, as he did during his mandate.
